Steve is super competitive when it comes to games – he wouldn’t even let the kids win when they were little! I am fairly rubbish at games, so when I find one that I can play – and win – I have to make the most of it! I also used to be the Queen of Dragon Dice and had an impressive army of Coral Elves, but for some reason, nobody wanted to play anymore!!
(Steve is convinced that no one else will have heard of Munchkin or Dragon Dice, so I would be grateful for any comments to prove him wrong!)
There are some shades of blue and green that I cannot tell apart. It has led to some eye-watering colour clashes in the past! It’s not that I don’t like green, but if I buy something because I think it’s blue, I’d like it to actually BE blue!!
Why? Why does this have to happen? Aren’t household chores boring enough? Why can’t they make tissues that don’t turn into a bazillion pieces in the wash – come on, clever scientist people, how hard can it be?
Remember the saying about never waking a sleeping baby? Same goes for me! I know we’re expected to multi-task and do a million things a day, but sometimes we just really need a nap. So, sshhh…if you’ll excuse me, I must just…ZZZZZZZZZ.
Let’s face it – there’s been precious few days like this in rainy old England this year! Summer’s nearly over, the kids have gone back to school and we’ve already turned the heating back on!
Only one thing for it – time to start thinking about Christmas shopping!!
I actually asked that we buy a nondescript tote bag so that I don’t feel like a plum when I have to carry it down the street. Blooming fashion! Steve
