Being early is not a problem we have that often, as Steve seems to think that time stops and waits for him until he is ready! When I’m in charge we tend to get there too early. You’d think that after all these years we would be somewhere in the middle and actually arrive on time. I’ll let you know if it ever happens!
Midday Meltdown
Thankfully, there were no tears, but this is a conversation we actually had with our little grandaughter a couple of weeks ago. She REALLY doesn’t like peas though!
Tidy…
In all honesty, our living room is never too tidy, but it’s been lovely to see a house full of toys again.
Carpark Conundrum…
Sometimes too much choice can be a bad thing!
We’re going to the zoo, zoo, zoo…
Yes, we are still here, not given up yet! Life has been smacking us in the face a bit more than usual lately, so not much time for drawing.
This comic is based on a family trip to the zoo, that went pretty much as shown. I’m all for animal welfare and conservation, but it’s not exactly a fun day out if you don’t see any animals!
To heel and back…
Much as I love my boots, I did not really expect to still be wearing them in June. Hopefully the rain will ease up soon, and we can have a few days of sunshine, before it’s winter again!!
Garden drama…
Inspiration has been thin on the ground lately, due to all the decorating and shelf building that we have been busy with. A friend of mine suggested comics about the grandkids, or bugs. Here’s one that combines the two, thanks Debs!
The Game..
Sooo… it’s time for Euro 2016, a whole 30 days of football. I would say that I’ll be in the garden if you need me, but having just been drenched (again) by another thunderstorm, I’ll probably just buy some ear plugs to deaden the noise of Steve’s enthusiastic supporting!

FOOOOTTTTBAAALLLL!

Check check checkity check…
Here is another comic, in keeping with our theme of talking about holidays, whilst not actually going on any.
As you might have guessed, I am not a fan of sandals for men, especially bone white feet that are hidden inside socks for the other 50 weeks of the year!

Navigating a tricky situation…
What? I thought that was what the passenger seat was for- otherwise why do I always fall asleep the minute I sit in one?
Sadly we have not been on any jolly holidays but have been embroiled in the hell that is re-decorating the kitchen. Thankfully we have finished now- and without going anywhere near the divorce courts!
For anyone lucky enough to be going away- we hope you all have a wonderful time!
